Job Summary
The Marketing Manager at Recycling Partnersof Jamaica (RPJ) will play a key role in enhancing the organization’svisibility and driving its mission of sustainability through strategicmarketing initiatives. This role is responsible for developing and executingcomprehensive marketing strategies that attract and engage target audiencesacross various channels. The Marketing Manager will oversee all aspects ofmarketing, from campaign planning and budgeting to content creation andperformance analysis. They will also foster partnerships with industrystakeholders, manage vendor relationships, and ensure brand consistency acrossall materials. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to lead RPJ’smarketing efforts and make a meaningful impact in the environmental andrecycling sector in Jamaica.
Responsibilities:
§ Develop comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brandvisibility, generate qualified leads, and enhance company outreach in alignmentwith RPJ’s mission of sustainability.
§ Plan, execute, and oversee end-to-end marketing campaigns, ensuringa cohesive approach from concept to completion.
§ Utilize a mix of organic and paid channels—including contentcreation, social media, PPC, event management, and PR—to maximize reach andeffectiveness.
§ Create high-quality, engaging content for digital platforms,including the website and blog, to attract and convert key target audiences.
§ Establish and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders, includingindustry partners, agencies, and vendors, to expand RPJ's reach and influence.
§ Develop and manage the marketing budget on both a quarterly andannual basis, ensuring resources are allocated effectively andcost-efficiently.
§ Oversee the production of all marketing materials, ensuringconsistency across mediums such as digital ads, print brochures, and casestudies.
§ Track, measure, and report the performance of marketing campaigns,providing data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize strategies.
§ Conduct regular analysis of consumer behaviour, refining email andadvertising campaigns to better resonate with audiences.
Requirements and Skills:
§ Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing or a related field.
§ Demonstrable experience in marketing, with a proactive attitude and enthusiasmfor continuous learning.
§ Proven ability to identify target audiences and design innovative,cross-channel campaigns that engage, educate, and inspire action.
§ Strong proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, WebTrends) to analyze campaign performance and customer behaviour.
§ Hands-on experience in setting up and optimizing Google AdWords andother paid advertising platforms.
§ Excellent numerical skills; comfortable working with data andanalyzing metrics through tools like spreadsheets.
§ A keen eye for design and an appreciation for effective, engagingcommunication.
§ Knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in digitalmarketing and performance measurement.
§ Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills.
§ Excellent interpersonal andcustomer service skills.
§ Thorough understanding ofprinciples and methods used to promote, display, and sell products andservices.
