Key Responsibilities:
• Operational Oversight: Supervise daily operations across all depots to ensure efficiency, productivity, and adherence to best practices.
• Team Leadership: Provide hands-on supervision, training, and motivation to depot staff and independent Depot Operators to maintain high performance standards.
• Quality Control: Conduct periodic inspections of collected plastics to ensure they meet the required quality and quantity standards before export.
• Logistics & Coordination: Manage and streamline the shipment process by coordinating with shipping agents, providing clear guidelines, and ensuring timely deliveries.
• Financial Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial documentation and invoicing processes at all stages for accurate record-keeping and transaction transparency.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall operational workflows.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Postgraduate qualification is an asset.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in recycling, manufacturing, or logistics.
• Project management experience (Certification in Project Management is a plus).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Planner.
• Knowledge of sustainability initiatives, health & safety standards, and emergency protocols is an advantage.
Preferred Skills (Optional):
• Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
• Experience with sustainability initiatives and green building practices.
• Familiarity with local and international environmental regulations.
