Project Coordinator

 POSITION:             PROJECT COORDINATOR

DEPARTMENT:     VENDOR SERVICES

REPORTING TO:    VENDOR SERVICES MANAGER

 

Job Brief

 

We are seeking to employ a capableprofessional to administer and organize a variety of projects, from simpleactivities to more complex plans in the position of Project Coordinator. Thisposition will work closely with the Vendor Services Manager to preparecomprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes and budgets forprojects. The successful candidate should have: excellent time managementskills, financial management skills, and organizational and communicationskills.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

·       Coordinate project management activities,resources, equipment and information

·       Liaise with stakeholders and internal teams toidentify and define requirements, scope and objectives of projects

·       Assign tasks to internal teams and assist withschedule management

·       Effectively manage the evolvement of projects

·       Help prepare budgets

·       Analyze risks and opportunities

·       Oversee project procurement management

·       Monitor project progress and handle any issuesthat arise

·       Act as the point of contact and communicateproject status to all participants

·       Use tools to monitor working hours, plans andexpenditures

·       Issue all appropriate legal paperwork (eg.Contracts and terms of the agreement)

·       Create and maintain comprehensive projectdocumentation, plans and reports

·       Ensure standards and requirements are metthrough conducting quality assurance tests

 

 

Requirements:

 

·       Proven work experience as a ProjectCoordinator or similar role

·       An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans

·       Strong client-facing and teamwork skills

·       Familiarity with risk management and qualityassurance control

·       Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Projectand Microsoft Planner

·       Hands-on experience with project managementtools (eg. Basecamp or Trello)

·       Availableto work extended hours and weekends as required.

 

 

Education:

 

·       BSc in Business Administration or relatedfield

·       PMP/PRINCE2 or other Project Managementcertification is a plus
