James is an accomplished scientist, strategist, and researcher with a passion for delivering sustainable outcomes.

His over 40 years of extensive expertise in Organic Chemistry has been the base for his far-reaching achievements in manufacturing, new product research and development, production and plant management has taken James to the pinnacle of leadership.

James is the Executive Chairman of LASCOManufacturing Limited, LASCO Financial Services Limited, and LASCO DistributorsLimited. He is also the Managing Director of LASCO Manufacturing Limited and sits on the Board of LASCO Financial Services Limited.

He also has extensive functional experience in brand management, sales, marketing, finance, and strategy formulation and execution. James has been past Chairman of several public entities, including the Bureau of Standards, Scientific Research Council, Natural ResourcesConservation Authority, Environmental Foundation of Jamaica, Nutrition ProductsLimited, and Cocoa Industry Board.

A University of the West Indies graduate in Natural Sciences, James also holds a Master of Science degree in Organic Chemistry.
