He’s the passionate driving force behind Recycling Partners of Jamaica's sustainability mission. Gairy believes in the power of collective action to create a lasting environmental impact. Since 2022, Gairy has been leading the team with a vision of a cleaner, plastic-free Jamaica for future generations. A civil engineer and project manager at heart, Gairy’s deep passion for environmental protection has delivered a significant impact, having increased our collection rate of recyclables by 42% within his first two years. He also leads the company’s business planning and development initiatives, geographic strategy, and other key focus areas. Gairy holds a Master of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, and is a Professional Project Manager (PMP), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), and Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB). Gairy enjoys spending time with family and competing as a triathlete.
