We have big news! We recently signed 800 meters track star Natoya Goule as our second Brand Ambassador. We made the announcement at the official signing on Wednesday June 22, 2022. Natoya Goule will be the face of our recycling efforts in the world of Sports.
Speaking at the official announcement, Chairman, Dr. Damien King, said he hopes Jamaica becomes as renown for its environmental management as much as it is known for its gold medals. This, he notes, fuels the company’s interest in active recycling at sporting events.
We kicked off our active recycling programme at events, through a collaboration with the Jamaica Athletics Administration Association, JAAA, for the staging of the CARIFTA 49 games earlier this year. Goule was the face of Recycling Partners of Jamaica for that effort, which was the first time we ever partnered with the 8th time national champion. This new contract in her role as Brand Ambassador, will continue through to May 2023.
For her part in the signing, Goule lauded the efforts we continue to make with the management of plastic bottle waste, and says she is delighted to have been selected for this opportunity. She will lead the promotional efforts in sports, focusing on the digital space, as well as be one of the front runners of a competition we will be launching in July.
Her first outing as Brand Ambassador was at the National Championships June 23 to 26, where she placed second in the 800m finals.
